EMCON ACQUIRES ASSETS OF ISOTEC CORPORATION

OTTAWA, ONTARIO-September 23, 2003-EMCON Emanation Control Limited announced today that it has acquired all assets of privately held ISOTEC Corporation based in Kanata, Ontario. Founded in 1992, ISOTEC provided electromagnetic testing, analysis and consulting services. The Company also produced electronic products certified to TEMPEST standards and was a member in good standing of the Canadian Industrial TEMPEST Program (CITP).
